Sul circuito del Santerno, per la Sei ore di Imola, Valentino Rossi coglie la prima pole position nel Mondiale Endurance, in classe LMGT3, con la BMW #46 del Team WRT. In classe Hypercar Ferrari dominante. Antonio Giovinazzi chiude al comando entrambe le sessioni con un ampio margine sulla concorrenza. La numero 51 scatterà davanti alla numero 83 di Robert Kubica, terzo posto per la BMW #15 staccata di quasi un secondo. Seguono le due Toyota e l’Alpine di Mick Schumacher. Settimo posto per la migliore delle Peugeot, solo decima la Porsche con la numero 6.
