La tennista russa, a 17 anni e 298 giorni diventa la più giovane campionessa in un Wta 1000 grazie alla vittoria in finale su Clara Tauson con lo score di 7-6, 6-1 in poco meno di due ore di gioco. Una partita combattuta nel primo set, poi dominata dalla tennista russa nel tiebreak (7-1) e nel secondo parziale. Grazie a questa vittoria Andreeva entra in top 10, diventando la più giovane tra le prime dieci al mondo da Nicole Vaidisova nel 2006
